4 hours This is a course for students with an intermediate level of proficiency in Spanish and who seek to move to an advanced level through the semester abroad in Montevideo. Content will include extended narration and dialogue, articulation and pronunciation skills, register and development of richer vocabulary. Students will work individually and in small groups to complete task-based assignments and presentations. Frequent assessment of speaking skills. Prerequisite: admission to Montevideo program. (S)
