4 hours An introductory course for students with little or no experience. Starting with relatively simple projects, individuals progress through various methods of sculptural expression and are introduced to concepts and skills in modeling and basic casting techniques. Projects include different forms of relief, sculpting in the round, and casting. Materials encompass bronze, clay, glass, plaster, plasteline, and wax. No prerequisite. (HE)
