Includes questions of knowledge, reality, the self, nature, society, and social ethics. Consideration is also given to issues of human rights, environmental and political philosophy, in connection with the so-called "Asian values" debate. Identical to PHIL 327. Prerequisite: PHIL 204 recommended.
