Classification of vascular plants with emphasis on flowering plants. Emphasis is made on species identification with the aid of botanical keys, recognition of plant families and noting habitats when various species occur. Other taxonomic methods will also be introduced. Three class hours and one three-hour laboratory or the equivalent per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 111, 111L, 112, 112L, 113, 113L
