Topics covered include thermochemistry, chemical kinetics, nuclear chemistry; the equilibrium properties of chemical systems; aspects of solubility; principles of thermodynamics; electron transfer reactions and electrochemistry. Four class periods per week. Must be taken in sequence. Concurrent registration in CHEM 113L is required. Prerequisite: Completion of CHEM 112 with a grade of C or better.
