Includes surveys of microbial adaptation and taxonomy, humanmicrobe relationships, environmental and industrial microbiology. Three class hours and one three-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 111, 111L, 112, 112L, 113, 113L, 301 (can be concurrently enrolled), or consent of instructor.
