This course will focus on importance of forming and developing groups in a productive organization. A view of the nature of groups and the unique human behavior within effective groups provides a foundation for discerning the leader’s role in forming and training effective group leaders. Motivation, empowerment, and collaborative skills form the innovative and systemic core of developing productive teams. Self assessments, group case studies and field projects will provide a context to observe and test theories and principles. Credit Hours: 3 CAPS
