A topical study of the biological nature of women and their role in the natural order. Topics include the following: women and scientific inquiry; genetics, evolutionary theory and women; social Darwinism and sociobiology; physiology and women's health; sex differentiation, hormones and a non-deterministic model of human sexuality; and biology from a feminist, ecological and third world perspective.
