This course introduces the actor and future director to both the theory and practical application of acting preparation. The semester progresses from a basic understanding of the Meisner approach to active listening and connection utilizing repetition exercises; a working actor based script analysis identifying objectives and actions; and applying those lessons to scene work for evaluation.
