This course is designed to introduce the student to health and physical fitness components related to developing a healthy lifestyle. It will include physical fitness activities, health risk components, assessment, and the development of a personal health and fitness plan. (1/4) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk. Prerequisite: None; this course should be taken prior to enrolling in other HHP activity courses. *Assessment of proficiency level in these courses may result in assignment to the intermediate level of the course.
