This course is designed to guide prospective health educators in conceptualizing, implementing, and assessing comprehensive, coordinated school health programs in PreK-12 settings. Included will be content and experiences related to the eight component school health program model (Allensworth and Kolbe) and special topics and issues related to implementing effective programs. (1) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk. Prerequisite: Health and Human Performance 221 and 301 or permission.
