A study of the flat-pattern method of garment design. Each student will use advanced fitting principles to produce a basic fit garment and a personal sloper. The sloper will be used in the production of an original design using flat-pattern techniques. Included in the process is construction of the original design in half-scale and full-scale. Additional course fee is required. Prerequisite: FCSC 120 Apparel Construction.
