Introduction to ancient Greek language and culture. Prerequisite(s): Greek 101 is prerequisite to 102. Unit(s): 1-1 Additional Information: Introduction to the language and culture of ancient Greece. We will study primarily the Attic dialect of the 5th and 4th centuries BCE, the "golden age" of Greek literature. We will also read brief excerpts from the New Testament. Students will develop basic reading and comprehension skills, a working vocabulary, and practice Greek prose composition. Partially fulfills Foreign Language (COM2) requirement. No prerequisite. Folch, MWF 12:30-1:20.
