A continuation of PS 450, open only to students who have satisfactorily completed that course. The focus shifts from basic helping skills to their application in the internship setting. This requires an understanding of the mental health service delivery system and where the student's internship site (8-10hr/wk) fits into that system, the development of assessment and treatment planning skills, and the opportunity for ongoing faculty supervision of the student's clinical work.Prerequisites: PS 450 Credits: 4 cr.
