Uses the theory and methods of MA 251 to explore in detail one or more common statistical techniques. Topics may include regression and analysis of variance, time series, multivariate statistics, and nonparametric methods. Applications will be included through the use of computer assignments and data analysis projects using real data sets from a variety of sources. Prerequisites: MA 213, 251. Credits: 3 cr.
