3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: SPE 3160, SPE 4160, and SPE 4700; or permission of instructor This course focuses on the communication strategies required to plan and implement major change in an organization. Students in the course will evaluate common system problems and processes. The course materials cover the roles of change agents, various communication competencies for managing change, and development tactics and strategies for implementing change. This course is designed for students who plan careers in management, training, or consulting who may direct change processes in organizational systems.
