3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: SLHS 2890 with a grade of "C" or betterThis course examines language disorders and the neurological, cognitive, environmental and sociocultural actors that contribute to them. Students are introduced to assessment and intervention strategies designed to enhance language/communication development, with particular emphasis on child language disorders and their effects. Field based observations will be required.
