3 (1 + 4) Prerequisite: Fifteen semester hours of psychology and junior or Senior standing, psychology major or minor This course provides intensive experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant under close faculty supervision. The experience includes lecture/seminar meetings and additional hours of application each week. During the seminar portion of the course, students will learn about preparing a learning environment, performing textbook selection, and writing materials required for teaching. Students will also be given guidance on job/graduate school preparation. Students may take the course only once for credit but may later do a two-credit independent study with a different supervising professor.
