4 (4 +0) Prerequisite: EDS 3210 and EDS 3240 Corequisite: EDS 3340 or an approved content methods course This course is for students seeking educational licensure in a K-12 or Secondary content area. Course content and objectives prepare teacher candidates to develop students' ability in reading,writing,speaking,viewing,and listening. Teacher candidates acquire literacy tools, including assessment strategies, to scaffold content instruction for diverse learners. Literacy strategies are applied to positively impact student content learning.
