3 (3 +0) Prerequisite: PSY 1001 and ENG 1020; and PSY 3000 or PSY 3620 This course is a survey of clinical and counseling psychology therapeutic procedures and techniques. An emphasis of the course is therapeutic modalities, assessment and diagnosis. There is a focus on ethical and multicultural issues related to the practice of psychology as well as legal and licensing issues in the practice of clinical/counseling psychology and related practice fields.
