3 (25 + 1) Prerequisite: RDG 3120 or RDG 3280 or RDG 4000 or Permission of instructor Teacher candidates will use quality literature and informational text as they learn to plan, implement, and assess standards based literacy instruction with an emphasis on the integration of reading and writing. They will learn to facilitate the writing process using writers' notebooks and quality texts as models. Instructional activities will be implemented in a 15-hour field experience.
