2 (2 + 0) Prerequisite: Successful completion of NURA courses, labs, and clinicals in accordance with the curriculum sequence earning a "C" or betterThis course introduces the basics of health assessment and aids the student in employing the components of a health history with those of the physical exam to develop an individualized plan of care. The student learns the components of a holistic health history and a complete physical exam to include application across the lifespan. The nursing process, nursing diagnoses, and cultural sensitivity will be included.
