2 (0 + 4) Prerequisite: Admission to the Accelerated Nursing Program This course is an introduction to nursing that includes orientation to the nursing process, nursing diagnoses, and critical thinking in developing a plan of care. A faculty-facilitated simulation lab is the environment used to teach the steps for safe delivery of basic care skills. Critical thinking and communication processes will be integral to the learning of basic skills.
