It gives insight into the evolution of nonlinear dynamics from historical mathematical and applications viewpoints. It develops and applies chaos theory to physical systems. Algorithms for generating intricate fractal images and the mathematics behind the images are also developed. (General Studies-Level II, Arts and Letters)
