3 (2 + 2) Prerequisite: JRN 1100 This course is required for students in the news/editorial and photojournalism concentrations. This course allows students to refine the news-gathering, interviewing, and writing techniques that were learned in Beginning Reporting by introducing them to crime, courts, and government reporting. Laboratory time to perfect writing skills is provided. Students are required to cover events out of class.
