3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: HSP 1040 and HSP 2030 or Permission of instructor This course examines the early and current development of cognitive behavior therapy as pioneered by Drs. Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis. Cognitive behavior has become one of the most widely used therapies during the last two decades. Students will apply C.B.T. by examining thoughts and beliefs connected to moods, behaviors, physical experiences, and events.
