3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: some coaching and/or formal courses (six hours) in human performance and sport, recreation professions, or health This is an elective course designed to inform physical education teachers, coaches, and administrators of the implications and responsibilities of a legal nature involved in school or recreation activity and competitive programs. The purpose of the course is to prepare teachers, coaches, athletes and/or administrators to deal with and understand basic concepts and trends of law.
