3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: HPS 2790, HPS 2860 Corequisite: HPS 3831 This course introduces the athletic training student in the injury evaluation process associated with upper body athletic injuries. Emphasis is placed upon the injury history, observation, palpation of specific anatomical structures, and range of motion, strength, and functional testing leading to specific injury recognition. This is one of the sequential professional preparation courses in the Athletic Training Education Program.
