3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: Satisfaction of the Level I mathematics requirement, and either ENG 1010 or the Level I communications requirement and HES 1050 or Permission of instructor This course is designed to acquaint students with a variety of nontraditional health and healing modalities in use in the United States today. It provides the basis for understanding the mechanisms and principles by which therapeutic responses are produced. The student will be required to develop and present a report related to a specific therapeutic modality. (General Studies-Level II, Natural Science)
