3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: ECO 3550 or ECO 3020 The course will use general equilibrium analysis to provide the foundation for international finance, the composition of international transactions, and the determination of real national income and its distribution among factors of production. This theoretical framework is then applied to a host of economic problems. The alternative approaches to balance of payments equilibration are then explored in depth.
