3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: At least junior standing or 9 hours COM-designated courses, and COM 3400; or Permission of instructor This course emphasizes creating professional animations for use in broadcast, DVD, and corporate video applications. Students will identify the technical issues surrounding the creation and animation of motion graphics for video. Students will incorporate appropriate visual effects, imported graphics, and video footage into their video animation. Students in this course will also create a video portfolio.
