3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: CIS 2110 The Java programming language is the first truly platform independent language and has gained widespread acceptance for the development of business applications and Web page applets. Students will learn the object-oriented paradigm and use it to develop business and business-related applications and applets in a visual development environment. Students will complete a Java application project that requires the analysis of a business problem, development of an appropriate Java program design, creation of a Java-based solution, and a plan for implementation in an organization.
