3 (3 + 0) Prerequisite: CJC 1010 This course will study the U.S. Constitution and the function of the U.S. Supreme Court in interpreting that document, especially those issues related to criminal procedure, evidence and the admissibility of evidence. It will consist of readings of decisions in the areas of privacy, due process, equal protection, and specific amendments to the Constitution related to the administration of criminal justice in the United States.
