3 credits This course, required for all students participating in the Florence program, is an in depth study of the relationship between the works of the major artists from the 13th century to the 16th century and their contribution to western civilization. Special emphasis will be given to the art and influence of the Florence masters. The following Florence museums are visited: The Bargello, Pitti Palace, Uffizi, and Galleria dell'Accademia.
