3 credits Successful completion of this course satisfies the mathematics competency requirement for graduation. This course is especially recommended for students who intend to take M151 and need a good review of algebra before taking M115 and M116. Topics include: algebraic expressions, firstdegree equations and inequalities, systems of equations in two variables, polynomials, rational expressions, exponents and radicals, and quadratic equations. Credit will not be granted for both this course and M100. Prerequisite: departmental placement.
