3 credits This course is especially designed to serve the physics major as well as the mathematics major who is placing emphasis on mathematical analysis. Topics include: Fourier series, the complex numbers, analytic functions, and derivatives and integrals of complex functions. Other topics may include Laurent series and residues, partial differential equations and boundary value problems. Prerequisites: M251 and M252.
