3 credits Typography is a study of the design and intelligent use and layout of the characters of our alphabet. The course will cover the design principles governing the organization of type for readability and legibility. Students will acquire this knowledge by completing a series of typographic projects using the computer applications Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Prerequisite: AR303.
