This course encourages students to develop a disposition to use critical thinking skills in their personal lives and careers in order to make decisions, solve problems and create new and/or original ideas. Emphasis is placed on understanding the elements of reasoning, imposing critical and intellectual standards upon reasoning, and assessing individual thinking processes.
