Prerequisite: ENG 1255 grade of C or better. Includes information and practice in finding potential sources of grant support, interpreting grant program guidelines, understanding how funding agencies operate charitable giving programs, and properly arranging the components of a typical grant proposal. Learners will find out how to research corporations, private foundations and other funding organizations and will be required to develop an actual grant proposal.
