Prerequisite: FIN 3600. The course has a dual focus: 1) major corporate finance activities inclusive of capital budgeting, capital structuring and restructuring to reduce the firm's cost of capital; 2) the capital markets and the financial institutions that are involved in the capital markets used by CFO to structure and restructure a firm' s capital structure. This includes the role of capital markets and financial institutions in the U.S. capital markets including the supply and demand for funds, interest rates and flow of funds analysis.
