Reviews current theory and research on topics such as relationship between verbal and nonverbal codes, discourse processes, and cultural differences in communication processes. May be repeated up to 6 total credit hours on different topics. Prereq., COMM 2500. Restricted to junior/senior COMM majors. Approved for arts and sciences core curriculum: critical thinking.
