Description: This course will examine the historic under representation of women in science and engineering and the current literature on success strategies for retention. Students will learn about research opportunities on campus, explore career options by networking with professional women, and prepare to enter the scientific workforce by honing key skills. It will be particularly beneficial to students who have at least two years before graduation. Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E.
