Description: Overview of ecological and hydrological interrelationships and associated vegetation dynamics for water-limited, dryland ecosystems. Graduate-level requirement include graduate students to produce synthesis papers on relevant literature and will meet five times outside of regular class hours to discuss these syntheses. Graduate students will also provide feedback for undergraduate students on draft summary papers. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E.
