Description: This course is a tool to provide basic understanding of human biology and its role in public health diseases to non-biologists. Major diseases with significant public health relevance will be used to confirm basic biological concepts, taught in each segments introductory lecture. Graduate-level requirements include a 10 page term paper. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. May be repeated: for credit 1 time (maximum 2 enrollments).
