Description: Course is designed to provide an intellectual environment for the discussion of new and innovative research across several domains in the field of communication. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following areas: interpersonal communication, mass communication, health communication, political communication, and social influence. Although these topics will be given precedence, other areas such as small group communication, intergroup communication, family communication, and new media/technologies may also be addressed. Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E. May be repeated: for credit 3 times (maximum 4 enrollments). Usually offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
