Description: Studies of Chinese American literature and film centered on the experience of immigration and Diaspora. Graduate-level requirements include a longer and more substantive paper than that required of the undergraduate student, one which demonstrates advanced knowledge of either American literature, literary theory or Asian studies, as well as familiarity with the relevant research tools.
