Description: In-depth treatment of advanced topics in inorganic chemistry. Examples include kinetics and mechanisms of inorganic reactions, bioinorganic chemistry, EPR spectroscopy, solid state materials chemistry, chemistry of particular elements or families of elements, and other topics characterized by faculty expertise. Topics will vary each semester. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 510 or consent of instructor. May be repeated: for a total of 6 units of credit.
