Description: This course will introduce you to the fundamental principles surrounding environmentally benign design of chemical processes. It will expose you to the social, economic, environmental principles that must be balanced to create sustainable processes for manufacturing. Graduate-level requirements include one additional project that is more indepth and involved with a more sophisticated analysis. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): major in chemical, environmental, biomedical or mechanical engineering. May be convened with: CHEE 455. Usually offered: Spring.
