Description: This course focuses on the principles of microbiology, including physiology, metabolism, genetics and ecology. The course explores fundamental microbial processes as well as their environmental significance and application in environmental engineering. A laboratory is associated with the lecture course to provide laboratory skills in basic and applied microbiology. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E.
