Includes protein and nucleotide chemistry and metabolism, enzymology, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, metabolic regulation, biochemical nutrition, biochemical endocrinology and related topics. Includes clinical case studies, clinical discussions, tutorials and computer-assisted instruction. Meets concurrently with BIOC 501. Grading: Medical grades are awarded for this course: S P F K.
